Burçak Bingöl

Burçak Bingöl (b. 1976 in Görele, Turkey, lives and works in Istanbul, Turkey) holds a PhD, MFA, and BA in Ceramics from the Fine Arts Faculty at Hacettepe University, Ankara. She also studied music at Ankara State Conservatory and photography at the New School. She participated artist residency programs at Cité des Arts, Paris and Hunter College, New York. Recent solo exhibitions include Mythos and Utopia, Zilberman Gallery, İstanbul, Turkey

(2017),  Solo Presentation, VOLTA NY, Pier 90, New York, USA (2015), A Carriage Affair, Galeri Zilberman, İstanbul, Turkey (2014), Solo Presentation, Art Basel Hong Kong Insight, China (2014), Cabinet Of Curiosities, Cda-Projects, İstanbul, Turkey (2011). Her works are in collections including The Metropolitan Museum of Art, New York, 21C Museum, Kentucky, Salsali Private Museum, Dubai, Baksı Museum, Bayburt, Turkey. Bingöl is represented by Zilberman Gallery İstanbul and Berlin.
