Jaret Vadera

Jaret Vadera (b. 1976 in Toronto, Canada, lives and works in Brooklyn, New York) holds an MFA in Painting and Printmaking from Yale University and studied at the Ontario College of Art and Design University in Toronto and the Cooper Union School of Art in New York as an undergraduate student. Vadera is a transdisciplinary artist whose work explores how different social, technological, and cognitive processes shape and control the ways that we see the world around and within us. Vadera's paintings, prints, photographs, videos, and installations have been exhibited and screened internationally at venues including the Queens Museum, the Museum of Modern Art, The Smithsonian Asian Pacific American Center, Asia Society Museum, Aga Khan Museum, Bhau Daji Lad Museum, and the Maraya Art Centre.
